I have known Marla for a few years now and I can attest to the fact that she is an amazing personal trainer, yoga extraordinaire, barre instructor and kettlebell master. I jumped at the chance to help grow this budding business by doing these branding photography for yoga instructor and personal trainer, Marla Starr of Starr Fitness.
There were three distinct different locations and looks that we wanted to focus on to highlight Marla’s strengths as a trainer.
The first location we started in was Marla’s own howe studio (where all her Zoom classes are held). We took a variety of poses using her weights, kettlebells and barre to show a good variety of her different classes. The next location was a beautiful park near a lake (more on this later). Marla had a number of her yoga clients come for a class so we could show her “in action” with her students.
The last location was the actual lake in the park. Marla is a PSUPA certified SUP (Stand Up Paddle-board) Yoga instructor and has plans to open classes as soon as next summer. I have to tell you guys, this girls is amazing! As she paddled out to the middle of the lake, a crowd of on-lookers gathered to watch her literally do handstands on her paddle-board. And, no, she didn’t fall!
