“Meet me where the end begins, in echos. Where your world is me and my world is you” – perry poetry // I love these Chicago intimate wedding photography images of Kim and Marcs special day!
Kim reached out to me via email and asked if I was open to shooting a non-traditional small wedding. My heart did a little summersault as I thought of the Chicago intimate wedding photography that I had done in the past.
We started the day at the couples condo in the West Loop with some images of them with their adorable dog. After the couple got dressed we did some family portraits. Kim and Marc planned a beautiful intimate wedding ceremony at Gibsons Italia along the Chicago riverwalk. They had invited immediate family and very close friends, a total of 30 people. Gibsons Italia is such a gorgeous restaurant and you can’t beat that view!!! Kim and Marc worked with the officiant, Jill Brown, on personal vows that were equally adorable and hilarious 🙂 After the ceremony guests enjoyed champagne and toasts before heading to a luncheon. A perfect day for such a sweet couple!
This wedding is a great example that your wedding day can be whatever YOU want it to be! I love capturing Chicago intimate wedding photography images as much as I love a big, grand affair. I have photographed Chicago weddings of all shapes and sizes and I adore when a couple stays true to what they want (and what they don’t want). A lot of people will have opinions about what you should do, but my advise is make the day YOURS! If you are looking for a Chicago intimate wedding photography specialist here I am!
Kim and Marc, thank you SO MUCH for letting me capture your special day! Hugs, Lisa
