Sometimes you meet a couple and just know there was some kind of fate that you found each other. That’s what happened when I met with Kelly and Kevin to discuss their 2019 wedding. As we chatted we realized that Kelly is from Michigan (just like me!) and her and Kevin are Michigan State Spartan fans – yep, fate (go white, go green)! Besides all the Michigan stuff in common, these two are just awesome. They told me about their dog named Roscoe and I knew he had to come to their Chicago Hotel Zachary engagement shoot! How freaking cute is he?!? We started in Lakeview near the couples condo with some great shots of their fur baby on their rooftop. We headed out towards the park and on the way I found this red brick wall that I loved – these are actually my favorite shots! After we dropped off Roscoe we headed to Wrigleyville to capture some shots outside Wrigley field with the marque. We ended Kelly and Kevins engagement at Hotel Zachary – if you have not been here yet, you have to go! I LOVE the window with the direst view of Wrigley field as well as the lounge vibe, cocktails and dim lights! I told Kelly that she probably owed Kevin a drink by this time in the engagement (he agreed), so they grabbed some craft cocktails and we had a great time getting different shots by the fireplace, by the retro bar and even having fun with the elevators 🙂
