Tyler contacted me asking if I was available for him and his fiance, Rachel’s, engagement session that they wanted to do with an emphasis on everything Chicago. The couple is originally from California and they have been in Chicago for part of Rachel’s residency, she is on her way to becoming a pediatric doctor (amazing!). Although the couple moved here for work, they have fallen in love with Chicago and even rescue’s a dog here….he made a cameo appearance in some of their pics 🙂 Rachel and Tyler really wanted to capture everything they love about Chicago because their wedding is back home in California and they will soon be moving to Florida for Rachel to finish out her residency. We started at North Avenue beach for the skyline view and photos with their dog, how cute is he? From there we stopped for a quick change of clothes and the drop off their pup and headed down to the loop for the remainder of the couple’s Chicago riverwalk engagement. The summer in Chicago has had a slow start and this evening was quite chilly, although you would never know it from these adorable photo’s 🙂 We took advantage of the “golden hour” light and walked all along the Chicago riverwalk. From there we walked over to the Chicago Theatre to end the session with some fun shots in front of the lit up theatre lights. Rachel and Tyler’s Chicago riverwalk engagement was so much fun!
