“What is done in love is done well” – Vincent Van Gogh // This quote seems so fitting for Roger and Manuels colorful Chicago Carnivale wedding!
This Chicago Carnivale wedding was so.much.fun! Manuel contacted me about six month’s before he and his fiance, Roger’s wedding was planned. They were planning an intimate wedding with sixty of their closest friends and family at Chicago’s Carnivale restaurant. Carnivale’s motto is “lead a colorful life” and the restaurant prides itself on engaging colors, glamour, wild design and global flavors in each dish – I have ALWAYS wanted to photograph a wedding here! The grooms and I met at Carnivale two weeks before their wedding to go over details and scope out photo opportunities at the location – oh the photo’s opps were plenty! Molly, one of Carnivale’s event coordinators, was such wonderful help – giving us a tour and mentioning numerous photo locations – thank you so much Molly!
Roger and Manuel are such a wonderful couple. The grooms have been together for a number of years and Manuel planned the wedding details flawlessly. The grooms looked dapper in their matching navy blue tuxes and colorful bowties to go with Carnivale’s decor. The cupcakes and small wedding cake was ideal from Molly’s cupcakes in Chicago. The tall floral centerpieces and the arch florals by the Chicago Flower Company were stunning and perfect for the Chicago Carnivale wedding. Everything about this wedding went off without a hitch. If you are looking for an intimate venue for your wedding or reception, I would highly recommend Carnivale! Not only is it such a unique, colorful and FUN decor, the food is to die for and the staff goes out of their way to make your day perfection. Roger and Manuel, thank you so much for letting me capture your wedding day memories!
