Ashley and Colten are such a sweet couple who happen to love going to horror conventions and everything a bit edgy and dark. When we discussed locations for their Chicago engagement session Ashley told me they wanted something a bit “macabre.” Soooo I ran to google to see what this meant. The definition of macabre is “disturbing and horrifying because of involvement with or depiction of death and injury.” It may sound strange to some but I got super excited because that means they wanted somewhere full of darkness and shadows. I suggested this campus and we all agree it was perfection for the couples University of Chicago engagement! Historical buildings covered in ivy and stone archways casting interesting shadows it was amazing!
