“What began as a simple conversation ended in love” – Mark Anthony // Kari and Jonathans University Club of Chicago Wedding was nothing short of spectacular.
It’s so hard to choose only a handful of images to post on my blogs and this University Club of Chicago wedding was no exception. Kari and Jonathan met at work and kept it a secret that they were dating. After Jonathan left the company for another position Kari brought him to a work event and everyone found out. During the couples engagement shoot we actually walked past the building where they met and I made them do a super cheesy pointing photo 🙂
This day was so amazing I just have to recap some of my favorite moments:
- The photo of Kari and her mom when the happy tears turned to laughter during the getting ready photos.
- The Grooms “getting ready” room, complete with a taxidermy BEAR and moose head mounted on the wall (epic).
- Kari’s dress – absolutely classy and stunning!
- The Officiant’s outfit! He is a great friend to the couple and he did a wonderful job!
- The entire University Cub of Chicago and its many photogenic nooks and corners. From the stunning rooftop to the library and the amazing room where the ceremony was held!
- The wedding topper….business in the front, party in the back. 🙂
- The two photo’s I captured moments after Kari and Jonathan got married. I happened to turn and zoom and it’s two of my favorite images ever!
- Finally….the way these two look at each other. It still gets me every time that I have the best job in the world.
