“I hope to arrive at my death, late, in love and a little drunk. ” – Atticus // Lucy and Adam’s The Robey Chicago Rooftop Wedding was absolutely stunning!
You may have walked by the triangular shaped building at the intersection of North Ave., Damen and Milwaukee and not realized that it’s an amazing boutique hotel called The Robey. Lucy and Adam are definitely familiar with The Robey and choose the rooftop as the perfect location for their intimate Chicago elopement. I started the day at Lucy’s hotel room where her friend, Laura, helped her get ready for the big event. Once the bride was ready we headed to the 2nd floor where Adam was waiting for the first look. Can we talk about how cute these two are with their ‘jazz hands’ – best first look reaction ever! Fifteen of the couples closest friends and family witnessed the couple say “I Do” for The Robey Chicago Rooftop Wedding. After the ceremony the couple and I took some portraits on the rooftop where I captured my favorite double exposure image to date! I love intimate Chicago weddings and I tried to capture the vibe of the day as well as Lucy and Adam’s fun personalities in the photo’s.
