Laura and Nick are the kind of couple that I absolutely adore. When they first reached out to me they explained that they were eloping to the Canadian Rockies for an intimate ceremony just the two of them. It was a perfect fit for a couple that adores travel and adventure. As they started planning their elopement they realized that they wanted to have a small Chicago reception after their wedding to celebrate with family and friends as well. This Dawson Chicago Wedding reception was a perfect fit for their celebration at home.
Having already gotten married the couple explained they didn’t need any getting ready photos, but they definitely wanted family photos and they for me to capture the intimate dinner and the party that followed. The reception was held at The Dawson and I can’t speak highly enough about the service and attention that was put into this amazing day! After some photos on the outside patio we headed inside where the couple and their immediate families shared a candlelight dinner that was just stunning! After the dinner, Laura and Nicks guests arrived to share in the Dawson Chicago Wedding reception. The icing on the cake? The couple hired the band 16 Candles to have the dance floor packed all night – they are amazing!
