“There are only two places in the world where we can live happy: at home and in Paris” – Ernest Hemingway // The perfect quote for Morgan and Sean’s Paris destination wedding photography session.
Ever since I was a young girl I have been in love with Paris. I remember writing a report about the “City of Lights” in 5th grade and dreaming about a day I could walk the cobblestone streets and have a picnic under the Eiffel Tower. I am so very lucky to have been to this magical city a number of times in my life, but this trip was extra special. This was the trip where my two passions collided, the city I love and the thing I love to do most in this world – I had the pleasure of shooting Morgan and Sean’s Paris destination wedding photography session! I was going to be in Paris for my 5th anniversary during the same time that Morgan and Sean were coming to Paris for their honeymoon. We both felt like it was fate that we found one another and organized this Paris destination wedding photography session. On the day of the shoot it ended up storming terribly but we were both determined to make it work! We changed locations to the Bir Hakeim Bridge which ended up being spectacular! Fun fact, this is the famous bridge from the “Last Tango in Paris” movie starring Marlin Brando. The storm itself died down and created some spectacular light and changing skies that resulted in some amazing backdrops, as if the Eiffel Tower wasn’t enough. At the end of this Paris destination wedding photography shoot we got some shots of Morgan and Sean at a classic Paris cafe (how romantic!). Morgan and Sean, thank you so much for letting me capture these Paris memories for you! Au revoir! – Lisa
