“You wear white and I’ll wear out the words I love you” – Train // I immediately thought of Katherine and Brandon’s Lacuna Artist Loft wedding when I read this quote the other day.
It was difficult to blog Katherine and Brandons wedding because there were so many amazing moments that it was incredibly hard to choose just a few for the post! Katherine and Brandon were referred to me by a friend of a friend (thank you Vicky!). The couple had recently moved to Indianapolis from Chicago and were planning their Chicago wedding from afar. I told the couple because I am local to lean on me for help if needed to help with details for their Lacuna Artist Loft wedding.
Katherine and Brandons love story is the stuff of fairytales. To quote the grooms father, who was the officiant of the ceremony “Katherine and Brandon grew up as next door neighbors and when they started dating it could have lead us here, or gone terribly wrong.” 🙂 Their long anticipated wedding day was spectacular! We took the bride, groom and wedding party from the LaSalle bridge and Riverwalk to the Chicago Art Institute South Garden for some amazing portraits. The ceremony was so romantic with the string lights. When the DJ started playing these wedding guests did not disappoint. The dance floor was packed all night long and everyone had such a blast!
Katherine and Brandon, you are two of the sweetest people and I’m so happy that you found one another right next door so many years ago. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your wedding day!
Big hugs, Lisa Kay
