Ashley and Mike got married on a cloudy day in February in downtown Chicago. The couples Hotel Palomar Chicago Wedding was beyond gorgeous!
Ashley and Mike were referred to me from one of my past brides (thank you Katie!!!) When I met Ashley and Mike I liked them immediately. The couple met at Michigan State University (go Spartans!). They have a fun-loving energy about them and I knew their wedding was going to be amazing!
I started the day with some getting ready photos of the bride and her mom getting dressed, this is always such a special moment. I am also loving the newish trend of first looks with the bridesmaids, it always results is the best photos! The ladies all looked amazingly stunning. After a couple quick getting ready shots of the groom it was time for the ceremony. The Hotel Palomar Chicago Wedding ceremony was held in the ballroom at the hotel and it was stunning. I took the couple to the Wrigley building and the riverwalk for some classic chicago wedding photos. As is expected of Chicago in February, it was quite cold but Ashley and Mike were troopers. Some of my favorite images is the couple just walking through the city and looking at each other. We retuned to the hotel and the party got started. Thanks to amazing DJ’s the dance floor was packed all night long and a good time was had by all!
