I loved being a part of this romantic rainy day that Natalie and Victor had their City Hall Wedding in Chicago
Natalie contacted me a few months ago asking if I was available for a city hall wedding in Chicago. Anyone who follows my blogs or my instagram knows that I photograph many Chicago city hall weddings and they are near and dear to my heart (see more here). Natalie and Victor, like many couples these days, met on a dating app. What’s different for this couple is that they met through a dating app….in Spain. Victor is from Barcelona and Natalie had just moved there for work and was looking to meet some new people. The couple both said that they knew on their first date that there was something special happening. Natalie is originally from here so the couple came back to have their City Hall wedding in Chicago. After the ceremony the couple face-timed with Victors mother, so cute! After some photos at City Hall with Natalie’s family the couple and I went to take some photos around the city.
It was a bit cold and rainy but Natalie and Victor were troopers! We first took some photo’s around City Hall. We then headed to the Chicago Theatre to snap some cute photos with an umbrella. Natalie really wanted some photos with the L train behind them which turned out so cute!
I love each and every single wedding that I photograph. Small intimate weddings can be just as special and romantic as an eloborate affair for hundred of people. However you imagine your day, stay true to the vision you have and it will be perfect. Natalie and Victor, thank you so much for letting me capture your beautiful city hall wedding in Chicago!
