“Make sure to marry someone who laughs at the same things you do” – J.D. Salinger // This quote seemed to be perfect for Danielle and John’s Chicago Carnivale Wedding Ceremony.
The first time I spoke to Danielle on the phone to get more details about her wedding she stated that her and John have been together for fifteen years and neither of them really wanted a “wedding” in the traditional sense. She went on to say that they don’t want anything fancy and they want it to be really laid back with an emphasis on FUN…..can you give me an Amen! I knew that Danielle and John were my kind of couple! The couple had a spectacular Chicago Carnivale wedding ceremony in the main dining room surrounded by their closest friends and family and one of their close friends officiating. John, the groom, had his best friend stand up as his best man and Danielle had her brother stand up as her “bridesman” 🙂 The ceremony was beautiful and the couples smiles were contagious! After the Chicago Carnivale Wedding Ceremony had ended, the guests went upstairs to the Tango Room for the cocktail hour and dinner. When dinner ended all the guests boarded Trolley’s and headed to the lake for a reception like no other! The reception was held on the Valara Yacht on the water and it was quite the party. There was dancing, singing and fireworks! I have to admit that this wedding was one of a kind and very well organized by the bride and groom! I am positive that their friends and family will not soon forget this special Chicago Carnivale Wedding Ceremony and Valera Yacht Reception.
