Amy contacted me months ago to inquire about her intimate Chicago Carnivale wedding and I knew right away it was going to be a special one. When I met with Amy and her fiance, Dan, to discuss the details of the day and put together an itinerary there were many moments when Amy would tear up thinking about her wedding day. Amy and Dan are both extremely close with their families and they really wanted the chance to share their wedding day with all their loved ones around them. They chose Carnivale for their wedding ceremony and reception location because they both loved the latin vibes and the colorful happy feeling of the venue. There were so many touching moments during Amy and Dan’s Chicago Carnivale wedding that it is hard to pick a favorite! Just a few of my favorite: When Amy’s mother gave her a handkerchief with a special message on it; Dan’s future father in law giving him advice; When Amy saw her Dad for the first time as a bride; Dan’s face watching his bride walk towards him; the officiant (a childhood friend of Amy’s) tearing up during the ceremony; the bride cracking up during the vows; the list goes on and on. It is so very amazing to be a witness to these moments that will be cherished memories for the bride, groom and the entire family for years to come.
