It was a beautiful day for Katy and Scott’s Chicago Wedding at City Hall.
I have said it before and I’ll say it again – give me all the elopements (see more HERE)! Katy and Scott’s Chicago wedding at city hall was so intimate and sweet! Katy contacted me about 2 months ago asking if I was available on a Friday afternoon to capture her city hall wedding. Yes and yes! I met Katy and Scott before the ceremony to get some photo’s around Chicago of just the two of them. As we explored the city I got to know Scott and Katy and there are some facts about them that I want to note:
- Katy’s dress – how beautiful is it! It was the third one ordered online and she just received it the day before the wedding!
- The couple told me they watched hours and hours of America’s Next Top Model to prepare (lol, love them!)
- Scott told me he “slid into Katy’s DM’s” before it was a thing 🙂 See guys, once in a while it works!
- The couple said they are both laid back and fun-loving so the idea of a Chicago elopement just felt like “them” 🙂
After exploring the city for some fun photo’s we headed back to City Hall. Katy and Scotts immediate families met us there to witness the ceremony. After the wedding we got some great family photo’s as well.
No matter how intimate your wedding is, I am a firm believer that you should document the day for prosperity.
