“I crave a love so deep the ocean would be jealous” – Unknown // This quote seemed fitting for Misty and David’s Chicago skyline engagement session.
Misty called me a couple weeks ago and asked if I was available that same week for an engagement shoot with her and her fiance, David. She explained that they both live in Atlanta, but David is originally from Chicago and they were visiting for the week and upon seeing the beauty of the city she really wanted their engagement photo’s to be taken here. I only had one night of availability that week and low and behold, that night worked for the couple and we planned Misty and Davids Chicago skyline engagement shoot. We started the engagement shoot at the Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk where there is a beautiful view of the Chicago skyline from the stone bridge. We next headed to the loop to get some shots with the iconic Wrigley Building in the background. The last stop for Misty and Davids Chicago skyline engagement was North Avenue Beach just as the sun was going down. We intentionally timed the locations so that we could get the amazing view of the city with the city lights in the background. Some of those last images of the couple with the lights behind them are my favorite, not just for the background, but also because the couple could not stop dancing with each other – seriously so cute! I’m so happy that I was able to give Misty and David some amazing images from his home town of Chicago that they can frame in their home in Atlanta.
