“Love is meant to be an adventure” – Gordon B. Hinckley // Paulina and Damian braved the cold winter weather for their beautiful Chicago riverwalk engagement photos.
I met Paulina and Damian last summer when they reached out inquiring about wedding photography for their Summer 2019 wedding. When we grabbed coffee to go over the wedding details and get to know each other we immediately hit it off 🙂 The couple told me that photography is the most important part of their wedding, YAS!!!! They also told me that their families and friends are very important to them and they love candid photo’s – YAS YAS!!!! Their wedding is in August in the suburbs of Chicago, so they really wanted to go downtown for their engagement photos to capture the buildings and the excitement of Chicago. I gave Paulina and Damian a few different location options (this list) and we decided on Chicago riverwalk engagement photos.
We had originally attempted for the engagement session to be in the fall but time got away from us and we ended up with a date in November and it was quite chilly! Despite the low temps these two brought the heat and made the most of it! We started along the upper part of the riverwalk capturing the Wrigley building in the background. From there we headed to the iconic LaSalle bridge. Some of my favorite shots from this Chicago riverwalk engagement photos session were just when Paulina and Damian are walking and laughing together – they have so much fun together it’s obvious!
