“I love you to the centerfield fence and back” // This baseball quote is quite fitting for Beth and Matt’s intimate, beautiful Little Goat wedding.
Beth contacted me about a year and a half ago and told me that her and her fiance, Matt, were planning an intimate Little Goat wedding with one snafu…. she couldn’t tell me an exact date until the Cubs 2018 schedule came out. Matt is a huge sports fan and the Cubs are one of his favorite teams. When they talked about planning a wedding they both loved the idea of a destination wedding in Chicago the same weekend the Cubs play so all their guests could go to a game together. Everything worked out beautifully for the weekend of June 8th. The ceremony was planned to be on Little Goats beautiful rooftop, but rain had another idea and we moved the ceremony inside. Even without the rooftop view the ceremony was stunning. The bride walked down the aisle to amazing acoustic guitar music by Philip Michael Scales and the personalized vows had everyone cracking up! After the ceremony the weather cleared and we were able to do photo’s on the rooftop (yay) as well as walk around the west loop for some more photos of the bride and groom. The couples guests had a fabulous Little Goat brunch, anyone who has been here knows how amazing the food is! I especially loved all of the details the couple put into their Little Goat wedding – from the personalized silverware to the Lego cake topper – how cute is that?! Beth and Matt, thank you SO MUCH for letting me be a part of your amazing Little Goat wedding, I hope you both and all of your guests from Texas had a fabulous time, go Cubs! -Lisa
