“I love you and that’s the beginning and end of everything” – F. Scott Fitzgerald // This Chicago Hindu Wedding was full of color, love and lots of dancing!
This was the last wedding I photographed before the Covid 19 pandemic hit Chicago and what an amazing day it was! Maria and Ankit are such a fun couple I knew that their wedding was going to be the best and I was so right! The day started at the hotel with the bride getting ready surrounded by so many pretty details (this was my first hindu wedding!) Maria looked absolutely stunning, I kept telling her I was obsessed with her look – amiright?
The couple had their ceremony and reception at Carnivale restaurant in the West Loop. They could not have picked a more fitting location, Carnivale is such a colorful, lively venue! This was my first time photographing a Chicago Hindu wedding and I was blown away by the symbolism and traditions including both sets of parents. After the beautiful ceremony we headed up to the Samba room for the wedding reception. The guests danced and partied the night away and a good time was had by all!
