“All you need is love…..and a dog” // I freaking love engagement photos with dogs! This quote is perfect for Laura and Ryan’s super fun engagement photos with their dog, Tamale, who really stole the show!
When I first chatted with Laura about locations for her engagement photo’s with her fiance, Ryan, she asked if maybe their dog, Tamale, could come along…..I enthusiastically responded “YES!”. Seriously people, if you have a fur baby ask your photographer to include them in your engagement photos – it makes for such fun images! In Laura and Ryan’s case, their dog, Tamale, is just the cutest! Although I did have to ask her to stop stealing the spotlight from her humans, who were, in fact, the ones getting married 🙂 I love engagement photos with dogs oh so much, actually any animals would be super fun to include – dogs, cats, pigs, fish ……. Tips for couples – if you do want to have your engagement photos with dogs, bring along a friend who can occupy the pup so the photographer can get some shots of the couple alone as well 🙂
Enough about Tamale, Laura and Ryan are the sweetest couple and we had so much fun working together! They are high school sweethearts who have been together eight years. The couple lives in the Southport Corridor neighborhood and wanted to capture photo’s near their first apartment in Chicago.
