“In all the world there is no heart for me like yours. In all the world there is no love for you like mine.” – Maya Angelou. // After hearing Christi and Chris’ heartfelt vows, this quote is perfect for their day. These Carnivale Chicago Wedding Photos are full of color, fun and smiles!
I got a call last year from Gail, the mother of the bride, inquiring about my photography services for her daughters wedding that was being held the next summer at Carnivale Chicago. I have photographed quite a few weddings at this venue and Carnivale Chicago wedding photos always turn out full of color and fun! As the day approached I was a bit apprehensive because I had not spoken or met the bride and groom, only emailed a few times. I usually meet with my couples a few times before the wedding to get to know each other. Christi and Chris not only live out of state, but also have a 3 month old newborn AND planning a wedding – they had a bit going on! All my apprehension went out the window as soon as I arrived and met Christi, she had a huge smile on her face and gave me a hug saying “I’m so glad you’re here!”
Christi and Chris had a beautiful ceremony in the venues main dining room. As you can see from the Carnivale Chicago wedding photo’s – the space is anything but boring! My favorite part of the ceremony was when it was Christi’s turn for her vows the DJ started playing Salt and Peppa’s “What a Man” and Christi started dancing and think Chris turned 3 shades of red 🙂 SO CUTE! After the ceremony we went to Kinzie Bridge for wedding party photo’s and a half naked photo bomber, because #Chicago. The couple’s family and friends danced the night away and the bride even requested a photo with me in the photo booth!
Christi + Chris, thank you SO MUCH for letting me capture your wedding day memories, your day was so full of joy and laughter!!! Big Hugs, Lisa Kay
